40 Days More - The Secret of a Store

I want to share to you a secret I discovered working in a store...

You want to know about it?

Tell, me you won't tell anybody, okay? Sure?

Ready?

I'm not publicizing this blog post, so if you were able to ready this, you're very very lucky!
This truly is your day! So ready for the secret?

Here it is...

Life in the store depends on the one very important cycle. You know what that is? The Payday Cycle. Why? We have been studying the sales pattern over the years and it all boils down to the timing of the Payday Cycle. One pretty good example is, if you would notice, most major sale events of malls happen on the dates right after the salary, around 16, 17, 18 or 1, 2, 3. Why? Duh, people buy if they have money!

Right now, June to July, we are expecting a dip on the sales becuase it's just school opening so people's money are on the enrollment and tuitions fees, board and lodging and allowances. So there won't be any sale event right after the typical Back-to-School Sale. So that's why it's at this time of the year, the store is pretty much busying themselves on clerical jobs like inventory and trainings and seminars.

Another best example is the Holiday Christmas Season. Everybody has money, with their bonuses and 13th month pay so the stores all over have sale events here and there! Plus, they don't have Christmas Day sale, why? No need to mark down the prices because everbody needs to buy and has the money to buy! Profits carnival! And of course, the malls go for sale events by Year End Sale, people need not to buy but still has the money to buy!

So you see, eveything lies in the movement of people's salary.

So what are you trying to imply Hanz? The year's flow is all controlled by the Payday. Not just in the store, but in life as well.

"I will buy this by the next payday."
"Oh, not now, payday is still next week!"
"I will pay you when we get our 13th month!"

All the decisions and choices, plans and schedules, the life direction is controlled by the payday.

And this is where the journey for financial freedom begins.
