How to Have a Life Overflowing with Abundance

The Bible says, He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season… In all that he does, he prospers. (Psalms 1:3)

God all wants us to be truly rich and be abundant in all aspects of our lives! Here's another excerpt from my powerful financial mentor, Bro. Bo Sanchez, on what exactly should we do that we will have a life overflowing with abundance and reach financial freedom.

What is God telling you? That you’re the tree. And He is the stream. As long as the tree is near the stream, that tree will always bear fruit—because it has an unending supply of water.

As long as you live near the Blesser, you’ll bear fruit. Your blessings will come. You’ll work will prosper. Your success will be at hand.

Let me tell you a story. My wife loves crabs. She doesn’t eat as much today because she knows it’s not the healthiest food in the world. (It was a dark day for her when I gave my talks in Awaken The Healer In You—because I said that crabs and crustaceans were scavengers and eat toxins—and are therefore not very healthy for us.)

Once upon a time, she used to eat lots of it. She was telling me that she went with a few crab-loving friends to an Eat-All-You-Can Buffet. Their goal was to eat crabs only. They didn’t know there were other people in that buffet who had the same idea. So the moment the plate of crabs arrived on the buffet table, the crabs would be wiped out in ten seconds.

So the next time they ate there, they knew what to do. They chose the table closest to the crabs. Whenever the waiter came with a fresh plate of crabs, she and her friends would stand up and be the first in line.

They positioned themselves near the source of supply.

In life, that’s what you need to do. If you want blessing, you’ve got to live near the Blesser. Don’t wander far. Don’t walk away. Don’t live at the periphery. Go where God is and plant yourself near Him and never let go. Because God is the source of your promotion. God is the source of your health. God is the source of your wisdom. God is the source of your miracles.

Now this is one powerful business strategy!

20 then 19 Days Left - Stop Pursuing Succes, Attract Success!

Attracting Success!!

The past 2 days has been quite fast, jam packed and oh so inspiring! Just a little flashback...

I told you about my boss whom I'm helping out to sort things out on how she manages people, well we can't see change right that instant. But you know what keeps me going is the fact that she's very much interested on learning especially from the book , The Way of the Shepherd. And I am happy with that! I'm excited when she reaches the crucial part on dealing with difficult sheeps and leaving a mark on your sheep.

Speaking about that leaving a mark. I am currently coaching one department supervisor I have whom I am eying to be my successor. My main goal is to have as many duplicates as I can in the company. And one of our latest lessons is "How to Leave a Mark to Your People." She is a leader that gives a damn about her people and that's what I like about her. My other supervisors do but she has this deep level of connection to her team. So our aim is to make it official that she be branded as the supervisor who looks after each and every one of her members...deeply.


So for the first time in years, I asked her to call out each of her member one by one and drown them with compliments and positive feedback. The results are amazing. Never had she been so fulfilled, her people felt elated, and she never thought she would hear good things from them. It's that simple. Now, trust is built, morale soars high, sales will follow! hahaha!

By the way, around 80% of them during their interview asked her, "Natakdan na kang Sir Hanz Ms.?" "Has Sir Hanz got in to you Ms.?"

Absolutely. That's my mark.

And about a friend who asked help on her career through YM, she's now back on track. We have been exchanging emails helping her sort and weigh options before she decides. I helped her open her eyes of what she found herself in to, and lift her from the unnecessary pressures of family and people. Because in the end, its all about her. There's nothing wrong with having 3 jobs in 2 years! That means she is searching, and she's different from stubborn people stuck in companies they hate for the rest of their lives! Seek and you shall find!

And so, I pointed out to her that this is the best time to fix everything, know her goals, her purpose and which path to take. And she's doing her homework just fine!

Also this afternoon, it's official that I'm mentoring another supervisor of our company. After lending her the book 8 Secrets of the Truly Rich she wants to do something next but don't know how. And that's what we're doing now.

I'm just wowed by her interest she really spent time to look for me in my area. You could see that need in a person by looking at her eyes, and she needs help. And I'll do all my best to help her out!

Our main goal first is to improve her self-confidence as she wished and level up her leadership skills. Actually we can do those 2 together. My first assignment for her is to get to know her team one by one - Know Your Sheep. And my second one is that she should read books - feed her mind with the wisdom of the world. I'll surely keep you posted on this.

By the way, she has became my business partner too! She agreed that she'd work on as researcher for my pending ebook - Stories Millionaires Read. I just love how God works magically!

Another magical thing! My aunt is now in the Philippines, with the wake of my grandmother, and you know what, she's now my business partner! What? Real Estate!!!

Her story runs great with her success in real estate 3 years ago. How? Self help. She was only reading books and attending seminars about it. This was also one reason everything flunked when the US had economic crises around 2008 where she lost "Dong, you cannot imagine how much". I told her, "Te, one lesson learned is to have a team or a mentor in business venture." If only someone had told her! She said, "I was just too late to learn." But I blurted out, "No, you were a year early!" 

We promised to talk more about it some time after the wake. But our set-up would be she'd help me out investing here in the Philippines. I can't believe how magical God's Universe is when I attract things!

All of these things are manifestations how God and His universe would conspire to help us if we help ourselves by helping others.  People who need help and guidance come to me, and people whom I need help and guidance come to me as well! This is because I am in focus, I have a goal, I have a team, I have a mission, I have a dream, and its God's dream too, and He will in all His power help me Get it!

24 Days Left - I Wish Everyday is My Day Off

There's always that sense of fulfillment I get in my day-off. There's no more wonderful thing than being able to work hard on myself than on my job! Where at the end of the day, your productivity goes back to you. That's what life ought to be right?

Aside from finishing all the layout of the proposed designs for the feel great shirts, worked on the stories for the best-selling book, and finalized for a new small biusiness I'm working out right now, here's one remarkable thing that happened - and it has something to do with my parents.

I realized, that if only I get to spend enough time with them I can guide them or help them out of this hole they got themselves into.

I spent the whole morning at home and both of them are pretty busy with all the preparations for my grandmothers burial and I was able to witness how their typical day would be. And so I striked at every chance I could get to strike at them!

Strike 1. They had petty quarrels over money. 

My father has this inclination of seeking out fast solutions to problems without thinking harder, plus added with a louder voice and irritation, they would have petty quarrels with my mother. Often my mom - afraid of his high blood pressure - conceded and there goes money not spent smartly. And so what I did was to interrupt their argument showed them a good solution that shut them up looking at each other.

Strike 2. My Mom's Mistake

My mother has this tendency to be quite extra talkative especially in relaying information. Well, we had this history with misunderstandings with our relatives - unfortunately, they often see us wrong. And so I took the chance to tell her straight that she should be careful in "adding colors" into information. Tendency is your "blue" might not be the "blue" of the one your relaying information to. I told her to stick with the details - the details the other party needs. And she too must be careful to whom she's talking to with colors because people have this great talent to do wonderful masterpieces from only one information.

Strike 3. Techniques and Strategies

There has been a lot of challenges in the preparations for the burial especially with the life plan and the providing funeral service. It's pretty obvious they're making more money with our loss and we just want to have a fair share on this. And so while on the phone negotiating I showed my parents what words can they use - number figures, "You are the only one who can help us" expectation technique, and offering win-win deals - to catch favor from the other side. And yup, it worked just fine!

This made me want to resign even more! Hahaha!

If only I could be with them more, we could really work bigger things out. This is such a motivating experience. I realized my parents have hope! They can get out of this hole and they just need some guidance - tough guidance. If I was able to inspire other people and move them to action,  
why not with my parents?

26 Days Left - I Ran 10K for About an Hour and I Messed Up!

Honestly, I was so hesitant to run the Energizer Night Race after what loss had come into our family with Mama Ling gone. But I asked myself, if Mama Ling is to be asked he'd surely want me to run. I know how much she wanted me to "exercise" after seeing how big I have become since she came last January. Too bad, she'd didn't have the chance to see how much I have improved with my body.

And so I moved forward and join the race - to conquer myself, overcome my grief and celebrate life!

With me were Jan, Kuya, and Kuya Lee and it was one amazing experience! Whew!We registered with the 10 kilometer ran for it was only the last slot available aside from the 3k and 5k. And it was so worth it, aside from the free head lights from energizer. Cool!

So fast forward, yup I finished the raise in about an hour something. I wasn't able to see the clock for I was eyeing the finish line! I was ahead of  the three with Kuya Lee following me, and Kuya then Jan.

So where did I mess up????

It was when Kuya asked us two questions.

Did you enjoy the race?

Ummmmm...I finished the race...hihihihi

Did you have any new bright ideas?

Ummmmmm...10..9..8..(smile)..4..3..2..1

This was where I messed up.

Life is not all about finishing the race, it's about enjoying the race!

And so I realized how the REAL (and at this moment- the now OLD) Hanz took auto-pilot during the race. My basic instinct towards things like this was to finish it to the best I can no matter what! For me it was a competition. Tell you, I never stopped nor slowed down during the entire race. I didn't stop because I know I would be very tired if I stopped or slowed down. I was only looking forward to finishing the race. And nothing else. While I was running I was really able to remember Paulo Coelho's story in the book The Alchemist,

“The Secret of Happiness lies in looking at all the wonders of the world and never forgetting the two drops of oil in the spoon.”

This "instict" of mine was deeply rooted in my academe world, purely motivated to be on top. I was like a horse in a calesa, or a typical rat-race employee who does only what he's told to do. All the time, in running, my goal was to simply finish the race without stopping. And so when I finished the race, I felt the same feeling I got during graduation,  
" Oh yes, you finished the race, so what?"

And upon realizing this I begin to smile. Yup, I messed up a race, but I learned one lung-tearing-knee-binding-foot-killing life experience I will never learn anywhere else...

Life is not all about finishing the race, it's about enjoying the race!

NB. You know how Jan and Kuya enjoyed the race? They had fun every step of the way, interviewing racers, Jan endorsing out names, Hurling URLS, looking for gorgeously inspiring racers, speeding up then walking, eating snickers, and came up with one BIG idea they haven't told me yet! Now that's the REAL race!

33 Days Left - Reality Check

You might be wondering what that I have been so quite about my businesses knowing I only have a month left!! Here's a little update of what I have been up to.
(I really love doing this - reality checks - keeps me on track)

1. The Ex-sem shirt - well it was quite a success. Imagine we have interested buyers from Saudi and Canada! Though we are are far from our promise limited offer of 99 prints we only got about 40 prints and only half of those have actually claimed there orders. It is already on its denouement actually, but it was a success because we learned, we earned, and we got a charity - a blackboard for children's Sunday school.

2. Shirts - Part 2 - Yup! Though the ex-sem shirts is on denouement we have an upcoming one. The design is ready, we have 31 orders reserved, its on its manufacturing stage. We'll tell the world about it shortly.

3. The FeelGreat Shirt - After losing track, its now back! The original members are just occupied lately that we were not able to continue cooking it but with Dro coming in the picture we can assure it would make it happen. Actually, we have planned it quite well the other night and all are now working on each assignment. Can't wait!

4. Lending - We have decided to draw the curtains to a close. We'll tell you more about it soon. But one great reason for that is we'll be investing it all in into something BIG. As in BIG.

5. Best Selling Book - still cooking!

6. Internet - inspired after knowing that my Best Inspirational Videos blog is rank 1 in Google search (I'm still proud even if it's only number 1 if you choose "Pages from the Philipipines" hehehe) I decided to buy it's own domain! Actually, I'm soliciting from my amazing aunties from the states.

36 Days More - Living Your Dream

I just came from work, and the first thing I did was to turn on the laptop, log in to my blog and post this. It's 10:46 in the evening and dinner can wait because I have to tell the world that I just had experience what it feels to do the thing you love the most at its best...inspiring people!

I spent the rest of the afternoon having a talk to one of the supervisors of my team and it was so fulfilling that I can feel living my dream of touching lives and motivating people.

It started with a little chat about a small business start-up. I was struggling not to sleep while typing a report and he was beside me working. And so I opened up to him what I shared to another employee which was also his neighbor of starting up a distilled water distribution in their place. I opened to him the idea, its an open market, with little investment, and semi-passive income. He was so thrilled of it and I told him to strike on it tomorrow because it's his day off. You would really notice his face lit-up with enthusiasm. And I was even more motivated to share to him my insights because he kept on with the conversation.

The turning point was when I shared to him what I have been doing - the 1 million 90 day challenge. His face was totally puzzled. Explaining to him of becoming a millionaire without the money was like explaining molecular biology to a 5 year old. But soon, with just the right examples, he was able to see my point but was not able to grasp it.

But the magical thing of the experience was what was happening to me! Words just came out so smoothly! I can't believe how my thoughts was singing in harmony with my words that little by little he was listening very intently and was smiling as he was realizing the truths I was sharing him. My beliefs, my values, rich attitude, millionaire mindset, and all other good stuff in this blog.

But for me this was for me the best part...

He asked. "Wait sir, lets talk about how can you actually get that 1 million."

"You see, before you get to the "how", you must clearly establish the "why". Why do you want to get the million? Okay, ask me why I want to get the 1 million"

He was smiling, and shaking his head and said, "Okay."

But I responded, "No, come on, ask me why do I want to get the 1 million."

"Okay, okay. Why do you want to get the 1 million?"

"I know how you feel right now. I know you feel so good about what we've been talking, am I right?"

He laughed and shook his head.

"You see, that feeling you have right now, if I don't have that million, I can create that feeling to only one person at a time. But I have that million I can inspire more people. With the million I can go to other islands and places and inspire people their. I can help more people, teach more people, and spread that very feeling you have right now to more and more people. And I cannot do that if don't have enough money......"

I paused. He smiled.

"And this is my "why". So you see, no matter what obstacle comes in my way, with this "why" nothing can stop me. I will achieve that million no matter what!"

That was not scripted. Not practiced. It just went out of my mouth deep from my heart.
And at the back of my head I can see how great it is to live your dreams.

45 Days More - Diamonds In My Backyard

Just weeks ago, I found a big diamond in my backyard! And right now we are harvesting it.
And I wont tell you about it!

Just kidding!

I’m talking about my second business: selling shirts we sell online through Facebook. Let me tell you a little story behind it.

As all millionaires are, you can never be one unless you have a team. And so I teamed up with my classmate back in high school and my friend for over 12 years now, Leandro. (The biggest guy in the center of the picture..hehehe) Good thing is, we have the same mindset with regards to wealth and finance. So working out with him was no problem, and he became my official co-millionaire.

One Saturday evening two weeks ago, we juggled up all possible ideas where we could strike one powerful business plan. Tell you, it was not easy. We covered everything from internet to real estate and we still hadn’t hit jack pot. We have been squeezing our creative juices for 2 hours already and there was nothing. Tired we just talked about our experiences in the seminary. Yup, you heard it right! I was a seminarian of Don Bosco for 6 years, 6 wonderful years.

And we hit, jackpot! We will be selling t-shirts for ex-seminarians! The big diamond lying in our past! We just got the simplest yet most promising business plan ever! So we spent the next 30 minutes planning and exploring all possibilities with energy and enthusiasm.

We wont be having any problem with the market because we already have one strong one. We are a member of the Facebook group Ex Sems of DB with 300 plus members, so the market is just a click away.

Start-up? Just plain creativity and the internet. We conceptualize a design of a letter X similar to that of WWF to come up with something attractive yet with attitude. However, we added our seminary’s motto,” Ecce Ego Mitte Me”, which means, “Here I am Send Me.” This was made to have a sense of identity to our buyers thus making them have a need to get one.

We also came up with a brilliant marketing plan. The first 10 to comment on Facebook gets a big discount. And tell you, it was just so effective! It would have been better if we would have a pre-launch program like announcing to the group that there is something huge coming. However, we posted it just a day before. No worries, next time we’ll do that.

An additional strategy too was given by Kuya Tony, sell only a limited number of shirts. We decided to print only 99pcs. Why? This would create a sense of urgency to the buyers if we say that it is a limited edition! Thanks Kuya!

And so last June 11, at 8:30 in the evening we launched the X sems shirt! And just before midnight we already had the top 10! Simply great for the starters. We even had 2 from Luzon already!

Orders have a cut-off on Tuesday and they will be released on Saturdays where we would be meeting in a place to distribute the shirts to our buyers.

We would be releasing it 2 days from now, and I am just so excited..


I really can’t believe that all this is just in my past, behind me. My diamond is just in my backyard! And with this, we already have a lot of great ideas coming after this. 

By the way, you might want to know where who’d manufacture our clothes. Again, part of our past, in our backyard. The father of our classmate in the seminary, who also was one Ex sem!

50 Days More - My Second Business-Shirts and Internet Marketing

56 Days to Go - New Biz in the Making!

No one can contain my excitement lately. I think we just hit the gold mine just behind our backyard! Yep! Just behind our backyard. Buried in my wonderful past is a golden opportunity. 

Right now, Dro and me are still digging it slowly. Planning and sourcing possibilities and options. No room for mistakes here. We have came up with a million dollar idea..simple yet great! We have the perfect niche. A very solid and unique market that is very promising in this treasure hunt. Plus, we need not much capital!

Everything is still being cooked, slowly but surely. We need to come up with a strong marketing plan and a stable logistics procedure about delivery and distribution. One step at a time. We both super feel excited. I'm so dying to tell the world...

but not now..not now...

71 Days More - Information Business

Information business is simply business that has something to do with buying and selling information. This is very very much applicable in the Internet mountain of wealth. Inspired by this, I was able to make in less than 4 hours an informational blog simply about magicjack. A device that can let other countries have unlimited call to US and Canada. I have greatly improved in my blogging especially in tweaking for good traffic and optimizing the blog to its fullest.This is a good sign, though I am not pretty sure this site will really bring in that traffic, but I was able to harness my blogging skills to the next level.

72 Days More - The 4 Mountains of Creating Wealth

As I have learned in the book, One Minute Millionaire, by Mark Victor Hansen and Robert Allen, there are 4 mountains where we can create wealth: Investments, Business, Real Estate, and Internet. So in my journey to 1 Million, here are some updates:

Investments:

I already invested part of my savings in mutual funds through PruLife. They type of institutions are way better than banks in terms of interest. They invest your money into stocks in turn increasing interest rates of upto an average of 8% compared to bank's 1%. If you're interested you can contact me and I can share you about it.

Other investments could also come in acquiring learning materials. Though so far, all the books that have helped me through are all borrowed books, I'm planning to invest on them soon when I'll be having that budget.

Business:

So far all I have are ideas but up to date me and Kuya are working on starting up a brand of clothing line that promotes inspiring and motivational quotes. Unique eh? All ideas and plans are still being stirred, I'll get back on this once all are set up.

Real Estate:

Again, all I have are ideas. But as I have mentioned before I'm on live broadcast on anyone who might know someone who wants to sell a house and lot. (Please tell me if you do!) I know they're just around the corner waiting for me to see them. All hopes are up!

Internet:

There are so many ways to make money on the net. But right now, I'm all into earning through Adsense. I have 3 blogs running: Inzpiro, 90 Days to 1M, and a Secret Blog in just over a month. Honestly, cashflow is still very slow yet, but I'm doing all I can to optimize these blogs.

In the long run, (but near future) I'm planning of selling e-books on the net. And if there's an opportunity, provide internet marketing services for clients who need one.

73 Days to 1 Million - The Search for Rich Friends

Over and over in T. Harv Eker's book, The Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, he really stresses that if you want to be rich you have to think like the rich, act like the rich, and be with the rich. And so now, I am on the search for "enlightened" rich people. Why enlightened?? Almost everyday around 80% of our customers where I work are rich people, but I believe only 2 out of 10 of those rich people are "enlightened". Enlightened rich people are those type that respects our salesclerks, humble enough to be kind to us if we commit mistakes, and those that smile at us. While "ordinary" rich people are those that raises her voice, draws attention of people, and curses our salesclerks, our store, even our country, every time she's displeased with just anything.

The logic is very simple, if you join in with those kind of persons you tend to become like them. You'll get to absorb their super positive energy; you'll learn their mind setting; you'll think the way they think and act the way they act.

They're way better off than being with people having a poor mindsetting. Who complains all day and talk of all their problems and misfortunes plus the curses. Can you imagine being with them? Surely you'll end up drain and be like them!

My Rich Friends:

- Of course, Kuya is surely number 1! Totally enlightened.

- Mam Ann. They are regular customers of our store who are super generous! They often give free movie tickets to my team. They own a large catering service here in Cebu. Enlightened? Absolutely. They are benefactors of Don Bosco, they come up with programs that drive money in for the orphan boys.
-Gosh, I think I only have 2 so far. Tomorrow, I'll look for another one. Action!

My Strikes Today

-Mysteriously, Kuya opened up of printing shirts with positive shout-outs, instantly I count myself in! Hey, I am an artist! I have been planning to have a line of shirts with that concept too a year ago. That's when I was able to set up my zazzle site, Inspiro. We'll be meeting tomorrow, stay tune for updates!
-Dro already reported to me the house, unfortunately, I found out those are housing units. Not what I'm expecting, I need houses sold by motivated sellers. But still, I'll keep the details, it might come in handy soon.

Business Ideas

-It popped into my head having another challenge related blogs...Be the fastest guitar shredder in 90 days and lose 20 lbs fat then gain 20 lbs lean muscles in 90 days. These popped while running in the treadmill. We'll see about this one.

76 then 75 days to 1 Million - Opening the Third-Eye for Business

Oh I miss a post again yesterday, so today I only have 75 days more to make my 1 million.

Last Saturday, that was 77 days more, I met with my mentor, lets call him "Kuya" and his son the internet-wiz Jan as part of our weekly follow-up. Again it was another super learning session but there are some remarkable insights I would like to share.

STRIKE! Always strike every time a business idea or opportunity comes to your mind.

Honestly, undergoing these challenge I am slowly opening my Third-Eye for Business. It's similar to the third eye because as you open that creativity and awareness to the surroundings almost everywhere you can see a business opportunity. My crazy idea of the Lost and Found Center originated from an announcer in the radio talking about a wallet he found in the streets. My other idea was of the Positive Switch Band - an ordinary rubber band that has the power to change people's lives.

What Kuya told me was to strike, so every time there is an opportunity work on it directly! Don't waste a moment. If you meet someone and you'll see that that person is opportunity, strike! Ask a cellphone number, tell your intentions! Chances are, you might not be able to have a transaction with him right away, however, in the future you'll have one with him!

Super Multiple Streams of Income

Not just 3, or 4, or 5, but aim high! 10 or 20 or 50 or even 100s! Don't limit yourself! In the latest topic of the book I'm into right now, Secrets of a Millionaire's Mind, rich people think BIG! As in really BIG! We shouldn't stick with the few numbers! If I am comfortable with 15k a month, then I'll always get 15k a month. But if I open myself to, say, 100k a month, then the Universe will help me get that 100k a month. Match this up with striking every opportunity, you'll get endless number of income streams.

Business Ideas Updates:

-I'm airing out to everyone I know that I'm looking for a house to buy and make a deal
-My high school friends were telling me they'd have a little donation in helping out children in Maghaway, a small village up in the mountains near our high school campus. They are planning to give school supplies for the coming opening this June. I was thinking of marketing in the Positive Switch Band and give half to the charity, watchuthink? One good way of tithing, giving back to God what He has given me.

78 then 77 Days to 1 Million

I missed to write on the blog yesterday..awww. However, I was able to write one very amazing application of my learning on the new book I'm absorbing now, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker. Its about Money Blueprint which is basically ones programming or mindset towards money. I made a very controversial example of that learning on my post entitled, Mr. Manny Villar's Financial Blueprint on my other blog at Inzpiro. 

The main theme there was...

The reason or motivation you have for making money or success is vital. If your motivation for acquiring money comes from a non-supportive root such as fear, anger, or the need to "prove" yourself, your money will never bring you happiness.

This would answer why a lot of rich people like Filipino politicians end up successfully unsuccessful.

Hmmmmm..how about me? What's my motivation for being rich?

Freedom! I could really do a lot of good if I have all the wealth. My main issue is simply I have lived a fortunately blessed life and I ought to share it and give back to God and the people what He has given! I grew up in a financially poor family but I was never deprived of love. My mission is to share that love and I can't do it without money!

When I get to have my first million, surely a chunk of it will go to my roots, Don Bosco. It has been my second home where I was able to establish my key life values and really honed discipline. Without the Salesian Community I am not what I am right now.

Anyway, here are some updates on my Business Ideas.

- I have come up with a counter part of the Live Strong wrist band, my Positive Switch. 

- I will contact Dro's friend who plans to start-up a gym coz I think I just have the right product to sell in that gym

- I will follow-up Feddy on how he is doing as the great engineer-mathematician learns programming! Imagine?? We'll gonna be marketing something big!
