27 Days Left - My Grief
July 8, 2010 my dearest grandmother, Mama Ling, passed away. I have a lot of things going on my head, and I am grieving so badly. This is the first time in my life someone so close to me has passed away. I want to write something about her, but I will not for now...I still don't have the strength, I couldn't stop the tears...but soon I will tell the world how that one person made my life...It's story everybody should know...

42 Days Left - Focus on My Preaching Skills
Things had been quite different lately, especially on the way I manage my work and my team. Like what I said, I'm now focusing on harnessing my skills in writing and preaching or putting it simply: touching lives.
As you know, we have been writing much on our upcoming book. So how about my preaching skills?
Simple, I give simple talks to my people in anyway I can.
Every morning we have a pep-talk. And honestly for me, its just the most awaited part of my work! Pep-talk is where the whole team would gather around discuss what happened the previous day, share to them the events and plans, or any other important information dissemination. But instead of all these, what I do is to share them stories, and positive inputs about work and about life and life purpose. Most of them came from not-so-well-off families. Financially struggling, and lack direction in life. And it's such a great feeling looking at them listening intently and seriously when I talk to them about life truths and principles!
My common topics would be that they are all meant for greater things - living beyond the ordinary. I also give much emphasis on how important for me their tasks. All they have to do is to perfect their small tasks and responsibilities and leave the rest to me. As long as they perfect that then we can bring the whole team forward. I would keep on reminding them, for the past 8 monhts, if you can perfect the small things then can you be able to handle bigger things.
Improvements? Not much. Maybe it would really take enough time and individual focus. But what I'm confidently sure is I have made them uplift themselves from not just mere workers but team members. Plus, the respect I gained from them is assuring.
And so, instead of complaining on my work as in my other post, there's something I look forward to everyday. It may not be much, but the experience is gratifying. Plus, I get to focus on my life skills. Remember, what you focus on grows!

65 Days to Go - Becoming A Millionaire is Not Easy
I'm tired. Honestly. I'm sleepy too. Today has been a very "low" day for me. I don't know. I just don't feel that I'm getting anywhere. (Impatient..ehehe not jejeje)
Yes, becoming rich is not easy. For Real! No questions ask. Let me enumerate how not easy it is:
- I spend only about 5-6 hours a day to sleep
- I have to read and learn and unlearn and relearn and apply and repeat
- Research and ask and research and ask
- I have to jog 20 minutes a day, lift weights ranging from 20 to 110 pounds at 20 reps minimum
- I have to work on my businesses or shall I say mountains: internet, investment, business, and real estate; and I have to make daily strikes.
- I still have to juggle my responsibilities at work; the hard part is squeezing in my millionaire ventures within it
- From 5x a week movies to once a week
- What is a TV?
- Squeezing your creative juices sometimes squeezes more than just the juices!
- Keeping up with the not-so-cooperative-poor-mindset environment
- Adjusting my millionaire ventures because of work O.T.T.Y - Overtime Thank Yous
- I'm just starting so there are times that when things don't make sense
- Pimples and eye bags
- My 1 hour lunch break is 7 minutes eating lunch and 53 minutes digesting a millionaire book
- Afraid of burnout? Maybe.
- Super pressure! And to think I'm the one pressing it on myself
But upon reading what I've typed I said to myself, "Hey, I made a decision..this is a personal commitment...and there's no stopping me no matter what." Rich people commit themselves to becoming rich not just wanting to be rich. What I've got myself into is an overhaul. Like a pencil being sharpened, yes, it's painful but I need to. There's no other way!
That's why I'm just happy today that I've met again with Kuya and his family. Just meeting them made me feel at home. "Hey, you're not alone in this, " I said to myself. I a settling experience. Plus, they brought me good news on our Feel Great Shirts and another clear-95%-gonna-push-through business opportunity. Now I'm back on track.
- I didn't say it is Hard. hehehe (not jejeje)

70 Days to becoming a Millionaire - Starting the Business
I'm very very very excited becuase we're starting a business! For REAL! Not the repacking of peanuts nor dealing of dried mangoes nor selling nachos to kdis..this is the BIG DEAL!
Our theme is to keep it simple. Maybe a 1 or 2 colors just to keep all attention towards the text and the message behind it. Fancy shirts now-a-days turns to divert the attention of people to the colors and to the design. But with our Feel Great Shirt's simplicity it will catch the attention of people as they are forced to read the text on the shirt. Then and there can we accomplish our main objective of inspiring people and sharing to the world the blessings we received as we have learned and lived the quotes all our lives.
The highlights of tonights meeting is to state what we can commit to the business. We were to choose from capitals - the start-up money, industrial - operations of making the shirt, and sales/marketing - could be online or direct selling. In my case,, with my 6-day work week and packed 8-hours industrial is a challenge. In capital though, my budget is not yet enough. So I commit myself to help in selling and marketing. Good thing I still have contacts to campuses and universities so this would be my target market.
Kuya still included me as a shareholder however they would take the burden of my capital contribution in the start-up while my first sales would be used to pay them for covering me up. One good deal.
All hopes and energies are focused on this one, but I'm still open for my daily strikes.
Strikes for today:
- I found a good source to get slightly damaged branded watches- I'm looking at the possibility of moneylending. I cant avoid the fact that there are times some of my team members would be asking for extra cash for their needs. But, I'm really uneasy on this. Good thing, Kuya promised we'll talk more about it the next time.
